Q: What do I need to do to apply for graduation? (Either 6 or 12 course Certificate)

A: Congratulations on completing the requisite classes for graduation! Visit our Program Graduation page for more information.

Q:What is considered a passing grade?

A: CUEP has determined that any grade that is a C or higher will be considered as a passing grade, however your Credit Union may define this differently. For any specific questions, you will need to reach out to your HR/Training Department.

Q: Are there required classes?

A: Yes, all students must complete Human Behavior, Foundation & Structure of Credit Unions, Business Mathematics, and Fundamentals of Member Service.

Q: Can I substitute college classes?

A: Yes, some classes may be substituted. Visit our Course Substitutions page for more details.

Q: What is a business appropriate headshot?

A: A photo of you from the shoulders up, with work appropriate attire and grooming, where your face is clearly visible. Be aware of what is in your photo, make sure the background is not distracting.

Q: I need a summer class for graduation. Can I still apply?

A: Yes, students enrolled in summer courses needed for graduation at the time of application may apply. If students have courses remaining to take in a future semester, their graduation application will be denied.

Q: Should I send my application securely?

A: We encourage students to use caution when sending personal information. We've provided information from Google Support on how to send an email securely.

Q: I've submitted my application. When will I receive an answer?

A: Once your graduation application has been submitted, it may take up to two weeks to receive a decision from the committee. Applications are reviewed on a first come, first serve basis. We appreciate your patience during this process.
